Tableau dark is a 12 month project by two Tableau HE folks who bonded over their love for Tableau, HE and their frustration with not being able to get Tableau server to do quite what they wanted.
Each month we will blog about an element of Tableau server and outline what we did in order to enable people to engage with the server better and have a richer user experience. This will include such varied topics as how to use tagging to help navigate content to how going “dark” to manage the migration from V8 to V9 enabled a refocus of the content.
It is not intended as an outline of best practice, just two blokes who found some interesting ways of doing things and we thought it would be good to share.
